Vera’s POV

I have been restless ever since Alpha Ramsey noticed the blood on my dress, how could he have seen something as tiny as that? I felt agitated and I don’t know what to do. I know I would be in trouble if he finds anything against me.

I haven’t gone out of my room for those days now and Luna Eleanor hasn’t come over to check on me which made me feel glad. I sighed and switched off the shower and came out of the bathroom.

I sat down on my dressing table and look at myself in the mirror, I decided to dress up and go outside today and don’t make myself look suspicious, I love how all attention is on Astra and how the maids have told me people were busy talking about her and calling her the culprit around the pack. It made me happy and I know the attention will never be on me.

I pull out of my drawer looking through my belongings when I suddenly remembered the ring I wore to the ball and my necklace, I didn’t return it back and it wasn’t in my box of jewelry in the drawer. I
