Rachel's health and pregnancy improved, and she was insistent on resuming the wedding plans. We were already married, but she dreamed of having a big wedding full of guests. I wasn’t thrilled with the idea. The confusion in my mind and heart left me restless. Planning a wedding didn’t excite me. But she was so excited about the idea that I couldn’t refuse. I had promised Rachel that we would have our wedding, so it was time to keep my word.

Rachel asked me to invite Dana’s mother to our wedding. I told her it didn’t make sense, but she insisted. However, I knew the woman wouldn’t come, especially if her ex-husband was present. Besides, I was her daughter’s ex-husband.
