Although Kaelan had left the garden momentarily, I still felt as though the storm was yet to calm. It felt as though my touch was the only thing that could calm him down, and now that I wasn't holding him, his rage was growing once more.

I was right, like an enraged warrior, Kaelan came storming back into the garden. His fists were clenched in fury, and in a matter of seconds, he has descended on the defenseless knight and was once again pounding him to a pulp.

Unlike the first time, Marcel didn't make any attempts to save himself. He probably couldn't even if he wanted to. Looking at him it felt as though he had lost hope in life, and was just waiting for Kaelan's last blow to send him away to the afterlife.

This time around I couldn't move, the adrenaline rush earlier had sapped away all my strength and my legs had become heavy. If Kaelan wasn't stopped, I might end up hating myself forever.
