I didn't sleep immediately after Kaelan left, I stayed awake battling with my thoughts, trying to make sense of everything that was going on, and how fast it was happening. Mating ceremonies, weddings, sharing rooms. It was becoming a little bit too much for me to assimilate all at once. I mean, I had just met Kaelan a few days ago. Not to mention that I wasn't fully attached to him as a mate.

I did feel a pull towards him, but it was a far cry compared to what I felt for Ethan. Slowly, Kaelan was winning me over, but I couldn't neglect the feeling of my wolf. She was adamant and still insisted that Ethan was her mate and not Kaelan. My inner mind had not been at rest since we were claimed by Kaelan.
