CASSANDRA'S POV

"Nothing," I replied Immediately, a smile curving my face, while he nodded his head in response,

I could see the doubt in his eyes but he couldn't say a word, reluctantly he turned around and continued in his business,

Soon he was ready and left for work, pain and anger coursed through me as he shot the door behind him, I sprang up to my feet, fuelled by a surge of sudden urgency, a desire to uncover the truth, irrespective of whatever it was,

I found myself walking towards the kitchen and then I saw Margaret behaving suspiciously, as I walked closer she turned sharply, gasping in shock, as a small bottle fell off from her hand, she Immediately picked it up and excused herself,

But I was so consumed, brooding over Oliver's deception that I didn't bother about her actions,

I got to the fridge and took an apple, and as I walked back to the room, I felt a sudden pain in my head, it was so severe that I couldn't withstand it, my hands flew to my head as I tried to hold it
