Chapter 26 - Enraged

MRS ROSA'S POV,

I stood by the window, the cool evening breeze blowing through my hair, when I heard a faint voice calling my name. I strained to listen, trying to make out the words, when I realized that it was Sophia, calling for me from somewhere below.

Her voice grew louder as she drew closer, and I could hear the urgency in her tone. I wondered what could have happened to make her so desperate to reach me.

"Mom!" She called knocking on my door. From the haste in her voice and the sound of the knock on the door, I could tell something was wrong,

"Come in." I said from my room, walking away from the window where I had stood in meditation, the door cricked open immediately and Sophia stormed into the room, her expression was fierce with anger written all over her face,

"Mom!" I could hear the sound of her breath as she called out to me, her eyes glistening from anger. As she opened her mouth to say something, I quickly inquired calmly,

"What is the matter?" she was looking wild out,
