Chapter 32 - Rekindled Desire

LONDON'S POV

As I drove to the office that chilly morning, my thoughts turned to the events of the previous night. In my rearview mirror, I noticed a car was following me. I recognized it as the same car that had been parked outside the mansion that morning. A sense of unease settled over me, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.

I turned the corner, hoping to lose the car in the maze of streets, but it stuck with me like glue. I began to feel a knot of fear in my stomach, my heart racing as I considered the possibility that the car was following me for a reason.

My mind was spinning with all the different possibilities as I slowed down to see if the car was following me. When I saw it slow down as well, my fear escalated. My safety was my top priority, so I sped up and pulled into the nearest supermarket, even though I didn't have any need to go shopping. I just needed a place to park and a place to think.

As I got out of the car and made my way inside, I kept m
