Chapter 22: Mystery

Few days after our company merger with MountainTimes, Lena's office was dissolved. She was then told to be the new senior editor, a very new position introduced by Nicholas which literally brought her a step backwards.

She was now assistant to the Deputy Chief Editor, the position she was occupying before. The position was now handled by the former cheif editor of MountainTimes, Noah James.

That really hurts her but she pretended to be fine. After all, there wouldn't be change in her monthly salary. Just the authority and office, which I guess wasn't something to worry about.
