I raised my fingers to my temple, pressing each one harder by the second. I'd hoped that with as much force that I exerted on the spot, the lesser time it would take to alleviate the pain banging in my head. Unfortunately, the opposite was the result. The pain intensified, the once in a while throb turning into a full on concert. Not only that, the commotion around me wasn't in anyway helping.

I was at my seat in the dinning area, the council of elders, Eric and Diana flunked around on the other seats, yelling at the top of their voices.

"Shut up, you old oaf!" That was Diana yelling at Elder Dave at the top of her voice. "You keep your mouth shut or I'll do it for you!"

"Me, Old?" Dave was in absolute shock. " You're calling me old. Have you looked in the mirror lately?..."
