The air in the garden was chilly and it was strange because we were nowhere near winter. The flowers looked dull, trees were stiff and the songbirds weren't even chirping. Not one was in sight and I sat there, holding my journal to my chest and barely rocking myself on the swing.

I thought back to two days ago. Two days ago when I'd gotten my revenge on Noah. Two days ago when I embarrassed him in front of his so-called important people. But how dare he? How dare he not invite me to his lunch? If it were to be an opportunity to embarrass me or probably kill me, he'd jump right at the opportunity. That served him right. The disgrace and everything else that came with it, he deserved it all and more even. I didn't pity any of the invitees either, the all looked weird, especially that sleazeball Emirates.

"My Queen." The door to the garden opened slightly, Laura's head peeking through. She had a sheepish smile and something about her demeanor didn't seem all right. " Good day my Queen."
