After everything that went down between Noah and I, the last thing I expected was him inviting me to his study. Not even his bedroom or the throne room, but his study. The same study he'd literally assaulted me and the same crime scene where I was caught. Some nerve he had, honestly. I always knew he was problematic but I guess after today, I'd be adding shameless to the list too. Just wait till I was back to my journal.

Two guards flunked my side, literally preventing any other locomotive movement aside from walking. I couldn't even stretch my cramped fingers because I'd be sure to blind at least one of them or both even. To be honest, I'd gotten used to guards being at my every beck and call.
