"It's time for me to mark you, My Queen."

To say I was hearing bells ringing loudly in my head was an understatement. Cymbals were clashing up there, making my head hurt badly. The fact that Noah just stretched to catch me confirmed my doubts if I wasn't imagining anything. It was real, everything was real. I looked around to the crowd and the pairs of eyes still patiently staring at me weren't unmoving. They fixed their gazes on me, trying to figure out what I'd do next.

"My Queen." Noah called and I turned back to him. He looked concerned but I knew better than to fall for him. As if confirming my thoughts, he gave a small smirk and winked too. That, set my insides on fire. "Are you alright?"

"Let me go." I swung my arm below, like I was going for his groins. He bounced back, but not without adding a little grace and flair to it. " Stay away from me."

"But I can't ." He cooed, the smirk still on his lips. "The auspicious time is upon us and we should do well so it doesn't pass us by
