Chapter 95: The Visit

ELVA’S POV

I returned from a hunting expenditure with Lu and two warriors. We had gone to a bush to hunt deer. My dress was stained with rubbish from the soil as I had laid hidden before shooting at the deer that had gathered in a horde.

Walking through the door, I met Mum standing and waiting for me.

"Elva, dear," she called me and I briskly walked up to her.

"Good morning, Mum," I greeted. She had been asleep when I left.

"Thank you, sweetheart," she said, "I need a minute of your time actually."

"Okay, Mum," I answered, following her and walking toward the staircase that led upstairs.

As we walked, she suddenly asked, "I heard that you and Jeffrey went to the Moonshine Festival together. Is that true?"

Her face wore strong expectations.

"Yes," I answered mum.

"How did it go?" She snapped quickly.

"We went to the festival and came back. That's all there is to it," I said.

Actually, Jeffrey and I kissed during the Moonshine Festival, and we almost made out, but I didn't let that happ
