My phone rang immediately I stepped out of the building, and got to my car. Well not my car. It was Armando’s. He asked that I took a vehicle since the journey was a somewhat a long one driving from outside the city.

His house was In a different town. He had insisted my body was not yet fit to endure the ride of a bike.

The phone countinued to ring, but I didn't pick up, utill I was settled behind the steering wheel and the engine of the plush car started.

“Hello.” I already knew who it was without checking the caller ID.

“Got your freedom?” Armando’s asked form the other side of the line.

“Yes, signed and sealed.” I told him.

“So you’re on your way here, right?”

I released a sigh. “Look, I appreciate you taking me in for this whole time but I don’t think we should be living together. Moreover, I've got my house. I won’t let one attack keep me from my house. I’ll be more prepared.”

“We have talked about this, Lucy. Your house is not safe.” He heaved an annoyed sigh.

“Yes, it is.
