Ariel's POV….

Of all the individuals I had to encounter, it just had to be her, didn't it? I mean, what the hell is she even to do in Light College? She doesn't even look like someone who is serious in her studies, so why the f*** is she here? I guess I wasn't the only one who felt disgusted by her presence, since Shantel kept glaring resentfully at me.

“From a waitress to a cleaner, why aren't I surprised?” she spoke arrogantly as she alighted from the car. “What the hell did you just say?” I mumbled slowly. She smiled tauntingly before shutting the car door. Roaming my eyes around her, I could tell at an instant her outfit was f****** expensive—my eyes landed quickly on the designer purse she held, and I somewhat felt jealous. Like, why in hell's name does good things keep going to bad people?
