As I thought about Whitney, there was a scowl on my face as I lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. I usually get angry anytime I think about her.

I didn't want the thought of Whitney to worsen my already bad mood so, I quickly banished her thought from my mind.

My mind drifted to how I met Jaya, my mate, and my Luna.

I met Jaya two years after Whitney ran away from home. I met her at the beach when I went there for a picnic with three of my friends and we all went with our girlfriends.

It was one of my friends that suggested that we go for a picnic to have a good time and I reasoned that was a good idea cos at that time, I was yet to get over the trauma of my determent as the Alpha of the Shadow Pack for three years.

Although by then, it remained a year for me to be conferred as the Alpha of Shadow Pack.
