All in my head

When I didn’t feel his hands on my throat, I opened my eyes to look at him, He had this look of horror on his face, and an emotion flashed across his face that I couldn’t put a name to.

We both stared at each other for a full minute and said nothing. He broke the silence.

“I won’t force you to do anything, you can sleep here.”

He left me standing there feeling like a fool, I didn’t know why but I felt like I had done something wrong, something I shouldn’t.

I dragged my foot back to my bed and hugged my pillow.
