The meeting had ended in a heated argument and Alex had left angrily. He walked out of the hall angrily as he thought about why a bunch of old stupid men were chosen to be cabinet members. It was absolutely ridiculous and he was going to speak to Athena about it after the meeting. She needed young blood mixed with a few older men who knew what progress meant.

Shaking his head, he took the steps up the first floor. He was so deep in thought that he didn't see one of the maids coming down the steps with a pile of laundry that covered her face.
