Chapter 127

Athena paced about as she worried about the guests that were being attacked on their way home.

A lot of thoughts ran through her head as she stared out of the window into the empty training grounds.

The news of the attack was going to spread like wildfire and everyone would think she was unfortunate. Why did she have to bring so much bad luck?

She didn't even know what was attacking them and that was what bothered her the most. Out of annoyance, she flung the champagne flute sitting on her window sill against the wall, causing it to smash against the fall and break into irregular splinters.

Immediately, one of her maids ran into the room looking worried. Athena didn't even acknowledge her. She kept on looking outside while her maid cleaned up the mess and quietly left the room.

Ciara joined in later. She stood beside Athena who seemed restless.

"You seem distressed."
