Chapter 130

Athena was awoken by the aroma of chicken soup that wafted into her nose. She stirred towards the direction of the flavor and when she cracked her eyes open, she was shocked to see Alex sitting on a tiny stool and staring directly at her.

"What are you doing here?" Athena asked as she sat up. She rubbed the sleepiness off her face. "Staring at me like a creep."

Athena ignored him and climbed out of bed. She hadn't taken two steps forward when she stopped and felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. She placed a hand on her head and fell back to sit on her bed. Alex was beside her in seconds. He checked her temperature.

"You're having a really high fever, Athena."

Athena nodded and leaned a hand against the bed with one hand. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I've never fallen sick in a long time. Why are these things happening now?!" She cried.
