Loki knew he had to save her because if she got caught, they would kill her immediately as she posed great danger.

He studied her from best to toe. She had the body of a large reptile. A small head with forked tongue that protruded out of her mouth and went back in in the blink of her eyes. Her snout, nearly invisible, save for two small holes from which she expelled and inhaled air.

Her skin was the shade of dark green, black on the rough edges and scaly. Her long, strong, sharp tail swished from side to side like it was waiting to slice anyone into two.

He knew he had to save her. To know what caused her to turn this way, he had to save her.

Quickly, he threw off his clothes and morphed into a great brown wolf. It was going to either cause her to fly or fight. Whichever, at least, she'd be safe.

It was his duty to keep her safe no matter what and that was just what he was doing.

The Kanime saw that Loki had morphed into a wolf and was snarling at it.
