Chapter 178

Athena was pensive. She hadn't taken her seat since it was announced that there was a Kanime in the woods. Out of fear, everyone had run for their dear lives and only the Warriors and Athena had stayed back.

Damien was by her side but she wanted Alexander. When she realized that she had told him not to return, she felt her walls crumble.

"Is she going to be alright?"

Damien turned to her. "Let's hope that she is. I have told the warriors not to kill her. They can only shoot tranquilizers at her,"

Athena dropped into her seat and closed her eyes in relief. She had never given Heyli a little thought but now, she was worried about the girl. Ciara had been able to analyze her and from what she had been told, Heyli had a rough childhood.

It wasn't her fault that the rogues had caught her and turned her to something as terrible as this and she wasn't going to watch her die for something she did not do or was not aware of.
