Chapter 149: August's Release

“WHY can’t you?” asked Francis. The confusion was evident in his voice.

“August was found innocent without any foul play, and it was final…” The tone of the police’s voice was too low since he knew that Francis would be mad at his answer.

“We can’t undo the investigation,” the police added. “The only thing we could do right now was to file another case against him.”
