Piles of paperwork in front of Rio’s table.
“Yes, please, I would love to…” Leonard is talking to somebody at the other end of the phone.
“That would be the last for today, thank Gena.” Rio gives the last contract he signed to his secretary.
“Well then? How about we drop by at Triflers for some shots?” Leonard said to Rio who is now preparing to leave the office.
“I do not see any problem with that,” he replied to him with a smile.
“Now that is my boy, haha.” Leonard taps him at the shoulder as they walk towards the elevator.
Rio brought his automated key and his red Mustang responded. They both get inside the car and drove away. Unfortunately, they got caught up in heavy traffic downtown. Suddenly, two police cars and an ambulance passed in the middle of the traffic.

The rainfall was heavy and Leonard knew that it will not stop any time soon. He and Mathilda are stuck in this old cabin by the lake. He lit some firewood in the fireplace to give some warmth to the freezing Mathilda. He has a warm body but he thinks that if she wakes up and sees him beside her, she might freak out. She still does not want to get any closer to him because she was shocked by what she has seen back there in Amberwood.Leonard wrapped her with that thick blanket that he has found under the bed, but Mathilda seems to be having a high fever and starts shivering. It was already dark when Guillermo and Leonard arrived at the tobacco plantation. He was welcomed by the natives in their community inside the Flavell's property.
