It's hard to resist a bad boy who's a good man Tessa's POV They say it's okay to lose your pride over someone you love but you should never lose the loved one because of pride. After all, pride changed an angel into a devil. But, I don't know if I could swallow my pride when it comes to Ronan Pierce. The moment I laid my eyes on him I knew I was in trouble, not because my heart started beating loudly after laying eyes on him but because he never fails to create a situation of suffering for me. Tessa's POV I scribbled down some random things as the lecture went on and on in the school. I flinched when Mila, one of the girls from Ronan's pack poked my stomach on purpose so that I would react. Instead of giving her the pleasure and my attention, I simply ignored her. I sneaked glances at Ronan throughout the lecture as he was trying to pay attention in the class but he looked quite bored as well. He looked extremely dashing in his school uniform, but of course, he also wore a black leather jacket on top of the shirt. It's his signature style and no one would even question him if he breaks the dress code. * As the lecture was over all of the students rushed to the cafeteria. My brother got in the line to get us some food as I took a seat and logged on to my phone and checked on a few updates on social media. After some time, Mila and Lucy walked into the dining area with an evil glint in their eyes. I hope they don't target me today. I'm so done with their silly tactics.

Tessa's POV When I was running through the corridor of the school I saw my dad, working with the team of cleaners. Yup, that's right my dad is a cleaner at our own school but of course, no one in our school knows that he is my father though, except for my brother obviously. I rushed down the lane of students as tears were falling freely. My father took one glance at me and his face contorted in confusion. He immediately rushed towards me He saw me crying and immediately came rushing towards me. "Tessa, are you okay? Did something happen? Why are you so upset?" he asked in a concerned voice and I wanted to hug him tightly and cry in his arms for days but I saw two girls from our class watching my interaction with my father and talking covertly. Tessa's POV * * * * * I would be lying if I say that I am not excited to see Ronan today. I mean I am always excited to lay my eyes up on him but today feels special. After he dropped me off safely back to my pack house we had some unfinished business, I have to thank him for his generosity. I felt some anxious butterflies flying in and out of my stomach as I walked down the school premises. The students were scattered here and there and my best friend Amelia approached me from afar. Her beautiful face lit up as she saw me and she immediately came rushing towards me and we hugged tightly. Amelia was out of town for a few days because of her family and now she is finally back, so I won't have to suffer from the wrath of the Dark Moon pack alone. "Girl! How are you doing? I heard some juicy stuff about yesterday! I want all the details!" she exclaimed excitedly and a few students looked our way. I tugged her to the wash room along with me so that we could have some privacy.

He looked at me with an amused expression which irritated me a lot but I could not keep my head straight when he was so close to me. I grumbled annoyedly at him.
