Charlie looks at me, and I give him an awkward smile. Casta chuckles next to me. I look at him and smile at him; he knows what I am talking about. Oh, gods, I’m in deep shit for releasing him and the others.

“We will fight with you. We are bound to you.” I turn and see the others from the prison as they stand there behind a woman.

“I can’t ask that of any of you. Casta, thank you for helping me, but I can’t allow any of you to die for me.” I say, and he smiles at me. It is warm and understanding.

“Little angel, you are the one to stop him. Aberdone is like a ravenous monster, consuming everything in his path. He needs to die. We know what you are. I knew the moment you were brought into the prison. The power coming from you is nothing I have felt before. You need to learn to control it.” He tells me and I look down in embarrassment. How do I control the angel when I couldn’t even make a ball of light? How do I control her when I couldn’t control Jadara and Cece? Gods, we are
