Charlie POV.

I dive into the salt water and shift quickly. I swim at speed towards the Waning mountains. It won’t take long to get to the island because I know where I am going. If you don’t know where you are going or are not in need, the island is impossible to find.

“Charlie, keep her safe and tell her we are not mad at her for anything. Also, please apologise to her for my attack. I needed to make it believable.” Queen Asteria’s voice is in my head.

“I will, my queen. Thank you. Keep me informed on any developments. I will find her and keep her safe.” I reply to her as I swim under shoals of fish.

“Go, be safe, my boy. Tell her we are all awaiting her return and we are preparing the armies.” She says and I reply with I will and shut the link down.

The fastest way to the island is through the singing stream. This stream is an underwater current like the EAC East Australian Current. But this has currents that run off it like a highway. If I don’t take it, it will take days and miles
