Rosa POV.

“Wake up, little angel. We are here.” I hear the gruff voice of Casta as I open my eyes and look around. The clouds part as I see the mountains on an island. The Waning mountains.

“How long have I been asleep?” I ask him as I rub my eyes and stretch. He chuckles.

“Not long little angel, but we are here now,” he says and I grab his little spiky horns and lean forward again as he flies down and my stomach flips and I squeal as we fly over the mountains.

I’m in awe. The ground is so green and lush, palm trees, and animals run in herds. Cece perks up in my head. For the first time since I climbed on his back, she has calmed down. She was freaking out, screaming like a little girl while Jadara was laughing and cheering.
