Chapter Twenty-Three

Nick was dreaming of Cindy again. Maybe because he was due to fly back to the UK in two days, the dream was so vivid. Almost real.

They were dancing around the ballroom, just the two of them. Music drifted in through the windows. Nick held her tight up against his body as they danced.

Then the scene morphed into that night at the pond, with him trying to get her out of the water. She was sassing him with her smart mouth. It turned him on when she challenged him. He loved the fact she stood up to him.

In his dream, he told her he wasn’t marrying Sophia. His beautiful Cindy glided out of the pond into his waiting arms. The next part of the dream had them in bed together. How did most of his dreams about Cindy end up with him making love to her?
