Eighteen

I rush through the trees trying to stay as quiet as possible. I can hear their footsteps not too far behind. I can't control my breathing enough to stay as quiet as I should. I hear a snap on the other side of the orange tree and take off running. I lost my sense of direction a few hours ago. I don't know how to get back to the house. I feel them close by and it sucks knowing I can't shake them. The fear is taking over and if I let it, I'm going to be in serious trouble. 

"If this were real I would have killed you," Leelie growls. I scream when she jumps out from behind me. "You need to control your breathing. You're freaking out and it's draining all of your senses. Breathe in through your nose and release it through your mouth slowly,"

for someone who they are teaching how to survive,she is really behaving like an annoying child. She needs to face reality and stop living like a child
