Chapter 20: Drunk (2)

Bernie's POV

I looked at my watch, it was twenty minutes past the end of the day, but Dylan still hadn't come looking for me. From the day I found out I had a special crush on Dylan, I've always kept my emotions in check. I didn't want Dylan to find out about my feelings, or else we wouldn't have any connection.

Fortunately, Dylan actively kept a distance between us, and I did not actively look for him. I can only take it as nothing and continue working with Dylan. But contact is inevitable between us, and the heart is the hardest thing to control.

I couldn't help but pay more attention to Dylan. Even if there were unimportant things, I would find him. Like lately, even unrelated work I would give Dylan. I know others will say I'm too picky with newbies, but this is the only way I can think of to get in touch with Dylan.

I cleared my desk for a bit, then went to the secretariat to find Dylan. As I thought, Dylan was busy processing documents, but the people in the office were gone.
