Chapter 46: The past (6)

In the noisy bar with music blaring, Dylan and Danny sat in a secluded corner, unnoticed unless someone paid special attention to them. Dylan licked his lips. It was his first time stepping into a bar, as he never really liked noisy and chaotic places like this before.

"How do you feel about this place?" Danny asked with a smile, looking completely different from his disheveled appearance yesterday. He was now dressed in a neat outfit, not too tight nor loose, giving off a carefree vibe. Dylan felt that Danny looked really relaxed at the moment.

"It's okay," Dylan replied, lifting his glass of wine. "Does that guy keep bothering you?"

After Danny broke up with that guy, his phone always seemed to have incoming calls, and even he seemed annoyed by it. Dylan had noticed several times that Danny would reject all the calls without any hesitation. Or if Danny did answer, he would hear the man's cursing or pleading for Danny to come back to him.

"Love is such a hassle," Dylan concluded.
