"Regrettably, the person playing the piano is your brother-in-law," Alpha Nox said.

I nervously gripped the fabric of my skirt while gazing at my husband. It was strange how, just moments ago, he had asked me if I preferred someone who could play the piano well, and now he was mentioning Timothy playing the piano?

How odd is that?

For a brief moment, I wondered if Nox had somehow discovered my past relationship with his older brother. However, if that were the case, he wouldn't be as calm as he appeared to be right now.

'Don't jump to conclusions. It's probably just a coincidence. Nox might not know anything,' I reassured myself silently.

Nevertheless, it was definitely suspicious that Nox had invited me to have a meal with his brother.

“Wow. He can play so well, right,” I murmured, not wanting to stay quiet for a long time because he might notice my bewilderment.
