Chapter 33 I'm Liam's Uncle

Silence filled the room. Amelia looked up nervously only to be met with Liam's icy expression.

He stared coldly at her. There was a glimmer of some sort of emotion in his eyes, but Amelia couldn't decipher what it was.

A while later, he sneered. As Amelia stared at him with a puzzled gaze, the man barked out, "Well, fuck off, then!"

Her body trembled slightly, feeling fear well up in her heart at his tone.

Liam suddenly kicked over the coffee table as he watched her flee. The loud noise frightened May, who was in the kitchen.

Since all the residents of Riverbay Residence were wealthy people with their own cars, there was no public transport here. Amelia had to run for a long while before finally reaching the nearest bus stop.

She continued to catch her breath with her hands on her knees.

She forced herself to tune out everything Liam had said and went back to her place in a daze. She fell asleep promptly after collapsing on her bed.

When she woke up, it was already dark outside
