Chapter 4

HAYLEY’S P.O.V

I looked around the luxurious room after Enid had left. I had no idea why he wanted to get married so desperately or what might even become of me if he found out that I was not the eldest sister of my family.

I wanted to pull off my dress as it was making me feel quite uneasy but I had no spare clothes, so I guessed I had to wait for Enid till he came back.

I stood near the window watching outside the palace. The view was very beautiful and I could see my house from there. It seems like you could view the whole pack.

I was still enjoying the view, when the door opened.

I turned to see Enid walk in. Thank goodness he was back.

"Alpha I…" he stopped in front of me and before I could finish my statement, he slapped me right across the face.

My face throbbed in pain, as I lifted my head slowly I realized that Enid had a very angry look on his face, in fact he was mad with fury. The aura that exceeded him Gave me goosebumps.

"How dare you?" He howled at me as I tried so hard to fight back my tears. Why did he do that all of a sudden?

"I…I…" I stammered trying to find the right words to say.

"Who's Miley?" He asked as I felt my heart seize.

"M..il…ey…"I stuttered in fear, could it be that he found out I was not the eldest daughter of my family.

"Answer me!!" He growled at me as I flinched in fear.

"Miley is my elder sister.." I replied shakily.

"I see.." he pursed his lips as he scoffed. Then he grabbed me by my throat.

"Do you know what I hate the most, Hayley?" He questioned with a menacing look on his face.

"I hate liars, I hate cheaters. How dare you think of fooling me!!" He yelled as he flung me away and I landed on the ground with a thud.

"All women are definitely the same, no doubt!!!"

"You're all gold diggers" he accused as I stood up weakly from the ground.He was just acting up, not giving me a chance to explain myself.

He was acting as if it was all my fault when he never gave me a chance to explain myself.

"I'm sorry…" I began as I rubbed my aching elbow.

"You're sorry.." he chuckled dryly.

"I despise liars the most. You actually dare to fool me. I requested for the eldest daughter not the younger one but your family went against my wish and dared to defile my orders.."

"Did you seriously think I was joking? Now I'll show each and everyone of you what I'm truly made of. No doubt you'll all suffer for this.." he swore and I immediately went down on my knees.

"Please keep my family out of this.." I begged. It was a good thing, they did not owe any debt. It was best they stayed away from troubles like this.

"Please I beg of you…" I cried but he seemed as if he wasn't listening to anything I was saying.

He walked closer to me and lifted me off the ground. "You'll pay for this Hayley…" he swore, his eyes blazing with anger.

"You'll pay for ever trying to fool an Alpha.."

"I don't get why you're getting so angry about this. You literally forced me into it. I clearly says I didn't want to get married but you never listened…" I defended myself.

"And I'm not a gold digger. I already have someone I love…" I muttered the last words softly.

"Someone you love right?" His lips curved up in mischief as he groped my neck.

"Now you belong to me Hayley. You'll cease to have any freedom of your own from today…" he said to me coldly and before I knew it, he threw me to the bed.

I struggled, trying to break free from his grip, but he was too strong. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I would not give him the satisfaction of seeing me cry. I was determined to be strong, even if it killed me.

"No!" I yelled, my voice trembling with fear and anger. "I will not submit to you. I will not be your prisoner."

He stared at me, his face expressionless. "You have no choice," he uttered, his voice like ice

 "You are mine now. Accept your fate. Next time you'll think twice before trying anything stupid…" 

He said unbuckling his belt which he used in tying my hands together. I began to scream like a mad woman. Then I knew why they called him a beast.

The sound of my own screams filled the room, echoing off the walls. I felt like a trapped animal, desperate to escape. But I knew it was hopeless. I was at his mercy, and he had none to spare. He was a cruel, heartless man, and I had no idea what he would do to me.

"Stop screaming," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You're only making this harder on yourself."

I tried to calm myself, to stop the panic that was rising inside me. But it was impossible. I was trapped, and I was terrified.

"Please just let me go.." I pleaded with him but he never listened to me. He had this dangerous look on his face.

The sounds of clothes ripping apart was heard as he stripped me naked. I was helpless and remained quiet after shouting all to no avail.

He went hard and rough on me, not caring that it was my first time or if I felt any pain at all. Silent tears fell from the corner of my eyes till I passed out.
