I woke the next morning to the sound of a knock on my door.

It wasn't anything like the usual knock of a visitor on your door, this one was aggressive, so aggressive that it got my head pounding.

I didn't bother asking who was at the door because whoever was at the door must be lacking in reasoning for knocking this way.

Last I checked, I didn't owe anyone, so I shrugged and opened the door, wondering what might have gone wrong.

"You! Who the hell do you think you are to let my child die like that? Aria was in your fucking, why did you let her die, huh? Eh, childless woman!" A certain woman screamed, jumping at me.

I backed away or my face would have been scratched by her elongated nail. Or should I say that if not for the man who had held her by the waist, I would have been writhing in pain by now?

The pain and veins in her eyes, neck, and head said all about how she felt about Aria's death.
