CHAPTER 70

After Damien left the room that day relief washed over me. He hasn't brought up the matter and I'm grateful to the Moon goddess for that.

Remind me to thank Sarah personally because I would have been in a terrible state if she hadn't intervened then.

Sarah had raised a false alarm only to get Damien out of the room and from then, she distracted him the more, taking Damien off my back.

I don't know but I think Damien needed more of his family members in this house just so the sanity here could be maintained.

Everything has been going down well, here and not much drama has happened, especially, since I put Clara, my mother-in-law in her place.

These past few days too, I haven't caught Audrey doing anything funny. She didn't enter Damien's room and Damien didn't go to hers. It seemed as though she didn't want to identify as Damien's mistress anywhere.

As for Sarah, she left for her pack the following day. She had confided in me, saying she didn't know if her marriage would continue
