"Is everything about you some bad luck, huh? Why does my grandchild have to die in a place you're in." Clara, my mother-in-law said and I couldn't help but turn my back to her and roll my eyes.

With the effects her words had on me, if I had replied to her at all, then my words would have come out brutish.

I didn't know what snapped in my head but all of a sudden, I felt the weight of the maltreatment in my head. I felt that burden on my throat that came from being unheard for many years and I thought that I deserved to say at least a word to her.

After all, being accused of murder was a serious offense that I shouldn't let slide so easily.
