AUTHOR'S POV:

Damien stared at the documents lying on the table in front of him and the more he stared at them, the more enraged he became.

He had been trying not to destroy things anymore but then, right now, his hands were itching to smash things across the wall, break things, just...just do anything that could take all the anger away.

"Damien, please..." Audrey had just entered his office and her eyes were wide because of the state of the things in his office. She wondered what had happened to Damien.

Suddenly feeling scared, Audrey wondered if something had happened to him overnight.

"Audrey, do me a favor and walk out that door while I'm asking nicely, okay?"

Audrey opened her mouth to say something when Damien shut her up, "Not a word." He was still pointing towards the door.

Audrey kept moving towards the door, her eyes fixed on Damien. She hoped that he was okay but there was nothing she could do about it.
