CHAPTER SIXTY TWO

"I just asked you a question right?" Alexander asked.

"Well I meant that I....that I am....am sick of my shoes" she lied easily.

"Sick of your shoes? What the hell is that suppose to mean?" He asked again.

"Am kind of broke right now which makes it hard for to buy a pair of new shoes, it's a bit tight for me and I was telling my friend about it when you showed up" Marianne replied smoothly.

He didn't give a reply but instead his gaze drifted down to her leg, the flat she had her feet in didn't look tight or any thing.

Marienne move her legs out of his view while wondering what he's doing her room.

"Why are you here sir?" She voiced out when he kept starring at her keeping her on edge.

"You said you will like to be my chef and it's way past dinner time already" he spoke.

"Oh! I thought the other maids would have done it for you" Marienne said.

"Well you thought wrong. The maids as you've put it never cooks for me, some how I don't think I can trust any one of them and
