"You can't force me, Sir!" Merinda pushed away Gerard's body who held her tightly.

"Why? You don't like me?" Gerard paid no heed to Merinda's whimpering, picking her up and placing her on the bed.

Merinda gulped. Gerard's current appearance was different from his human appearance just a few moments ago. His handsome face now seemed more dominant. In any case, what did she dislike about Gerard? He was handsome, powerful, though she still didn't know him well.

Merinda had only one problem. That she shouldn't fall into Gerard's arms. Because she couldn't trust her own feelings.

"You're quiet, that means you actually like me," Gerard whispered, shackling Merinda's body to the bed.

"No, don't do this," Merinda pleaded, inching backwards, but Gerard deftly pressed her chest to keep her still.

"You are mine. You won't be able to take that mark off you, unless I kill you," Gerard said.

Merinda's skin crawled. She knew their bond wasn't that strong. She could reject him or walk away and leave
