CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT…

Early in the morning just mere seconds before sunrise, Lilliana stirred awake in her bed. Kicking the covers off her body, her eyes fluttered open and stared outside her window at the morning twilight. She smiled, mesmerised by the breathtaking sight as the sun slowly rose to its glory up into the clouds bathing her room in pink light.

She laid in her bed flat on her stomach until it was high above and her phone vibrated with her alarm, making her aware of the time. Yawning, she rolled onto her back and stretched her limbs before sitting up and reached for her phone that was on the nightstand to turn the alarm off. Her hand stopped midair when she recognised the side lamp ...it was her self-designed side lamp.

Her head snapped to the side to get a good look around the now familiar room before frowning. Her eyebrows narrowing together in confusion ...how did she end up back in her bedroom?? The last thing she remembered was dancing with a boy in a club. Leav
