The thought of what was ahead gnawed at her, even though she knew they had a greater chance with the packs of Silvermoon and Ironclaw at their side. After hurriedly getting dressed, Kyra headed to the main hall where she discovered Maya, Rowan, Lyla, and Damon were already deeply engaged in conversation. As she walked in, everyone raised their heads, their faces displaying a mixture of resolve and worry."We have to be prepared for anything," Kyra stated as she sat down at the table with their war plans and maps out. Although she felt the weight of responsibility bearing down on her, she was given new purpose as she saw her pack hustling with preparation. With a solemn expression, Damon came walking in from the training fields. "The scouts are back, Kyra. From the northern border, they deliver news." Kyra felt her heart race.
