Amelia's pov

When I got back to my room, I placed the ointment Alexander gave me ontop of the drawer.

I was skeptical on whether I should use it or not and you couldn't blame me. He was the one who had inflicted the wounds on me in the first place.

I scoffed in disbelief. "So he thinks an apology is going to cut it?"

Stripping off my dress, I stood in front of a mirror. Looking at the reflection of my back, I fought the urge to cry.
