Mary made an angry face as she walked with Adonis to the car. He angrily opened the car door and made her get in.

Adonis got into the car beside her and closed the door with a loud bang, even Mary was startled by the sound he used to close the car.

He zoomed off, not saying a single word to her. He just wore an annoyed look on his face.

Mary felt irritated at his audacity, what right did he have to get mad at her? It was not like she was not out having fun himself. Although within her she was thankful to the heavens for sending him over to save her from the hands of those men. And at the same time she felt embarrassed that he saw her in that situation.

She angrily looked away, looking everywhere else except at him, she leaned on the window and looked through it. She looked at all the houses that were lit up by several colourful lights that glittered in the darkness.

She wondered how Adonis had shown up at the club to save her, she wondered where his lover was.
