THE SURGERYThe day for the surgery had finally come. Sun rays spread through the room through the well hanged curtains in the old alpha's room, he stretched himself on the bed and lay down for a while. THE SURGERY CONTINUESThe old man and his family got to the hospital, it was a good thing that he was about to get a leg surgery, at least he would be able to move around without support. Clara and Sophie stayed in the car while Maya followed her husband inside the hospital and then to the orthopedic surgeon's office. The old alpha's wife already directed Clara on what to do so she was not scared of anything. Maya Gillian knocked on the door and there was no response, she waited for a while and knocked again. “I said, come in” they heard a male voice say. He probably answered the first time and they did not hear. Maya Gillian pulled the door knob gently and it opened. They saw Doctor Gerald working on something on his laptop. “Hello sir and ma'am, please have a seat” he smiled and directed them. “Thank you doctor” Maya Gillian said smiling as well as the old man.“I remember, your surgery is today and that’s what I am trying to work on. The old man was sleeping beautifully and his knee had a bandage on it, she smiled on seeing him but wondered why the bandage was on his knees. “Maybe that is why the doctor said the case is complicated, maybe they did a knee surgery” she thought but waved it off, after all her husband is fine. “He is right there but sleeping, let’s just go inside gently” Maya said as she turned to look at Clara. “Okay mum, I cannot wait to see dad” Clara said excited. “Come on” Maya uttered as she pulled the door knob gently opening the door.
