Chapter 29: Against her will

She could not find any vehicle leading to the train station so she decided to walk some distance. It was a risk because her father or someone who knew her well might see her but she still chosed to walk. She had this feeling that she would come across someone she knew but she hoped that it would not be her father. It was getting late now and the last thing she wanted was to sleep in NYC. She finally got a cab and she waved her hands to indicate for the vehicle to stop. It did and she got in. There was a familiar face inside the cab. It took her time to remember who it was but when it hit her,it came as as a shock. He was the least person she had expected to see. There had been very little communication between them and after her mother died, she had not heard from him.“Henry "she called out.
