Chapter 4: Mr. Moody Pants

It’s been a month since I've been working for this company. The receptionist Lexi had been a good and kind friend towards me. I have realised that Mr. Jackson is a whole lot of a different person in and outside the office. The first time I saw him, he was kind, understanding and calm.

But in his office hours, he’s such an arrogant person. He fires people right away if things do not go as he planned to. He’s such a moody person and so I call him moody pants. Behind his back, ofcourse. Though, I’ve never witnessed his anger as I don’t make any mistakes.

“Good morning, Mr. Risso. Here’s your coffee.” I said keeping his coffee on the table.

“Give my PR Manager a call to meet me in my cabin. In 5 minutes!” He almost ordered and I could sense something was wrong.

“Is everything okay?”

“Do as you are told, Miss Valerina.” He spatted angrily.

Why is he angry at me? What did I do? Did he just use my last name in anger?

“Sure, Mr. Risso" I said, holding back my anger.

Such a jerk he is! What does he even think of himself? Moody Pants, huh!

I went to my cabin and did as he asked. I could see him yelling at the PR but not hear anything as the doors and glasses were soundproof. After 2 hours of yelling, I saw the PR manager leaving with a tired look.

I saw Mr. Risso looking at me and my heart skipped a beat. He mouthed ‘come here’ and gestured with his fingers. I got up from my seat to enter his Cabin.

Would he yell at me too? God! I was just looking.

I entered his Cabin being all nervous.

“Yes, Mr. Risso?”

“I want coffee,” He said with a slow voice and soft eyes.

“On it.” I nodded and turned around to leave but someone held my wrist from behind. I turned around and saw Mr. Risso standing right in front of me. Our chests were so close to meet each other.

“Are you angry at me?”

“No” My voice came out as a whisper.

“I’m sorry for yelling at you earlier, I didn’t mean to. I was just angry.”

“Apology accepted.” I said not meeting his eyes.

As I said this he came closer and my chest collided with his. His hand was still on my wrist. He used his index finger to lift my chin up.

“I would appreciate a smile on this beautiful face of yours.”

I blinked nervously and smiled anyway. He slid his other hand on my back pulling me closer to him. The butterflies were riding a roller-coaster in my stomach and I could feel my hands getting cold.

“Good.” he said and kissed my cheeks.

I closed my eyes with the wet touch of his lips. His lips were so soft and he didn’t leave after the peck. Instead he increased the pressure on my cheeks and started sucking my skin. I was feeling weak on my knees but his hand on back kept me still from falling down.

Suddenly, a knock appeared on the door and he parted himself away from me. The realisation of what we were doing hit me hard. But the look on his face told me he didn't regret it. I felt something that I never felt with Peter. He walked up to his chair and I turned towards the pantry to get his coffee.

“Come in.” He said and I heard footsteps approaching him.

“Sir, the deal with Mr. Gross’s company is on. He is giving us a profit of +10.”

I heard the girl talking. And for some reason, I didn’t like her.

“Good. Any other news?”

“No, Sir”

I completed making my coffee and turned to walk towards him.

“You may leave.” He said without even looking at her.

I saw the girl was wearing a short red coloured skirt paired with white shirt that revealed most of her cleavage.

Does she do that for promotions?

I kept the coffee on the table. But the girl was still here and watched y every single move.

“Didn't you hear me the first time?” Mr. Risso said.

“I’m sorry, Sir.” She gave me a look and closed the door behind her.

“Someone didn’t want to leave.” I said, still looking at the door.

“Jealous?” Mr. Risso asked, taking a sip of coffee.

“In your dreams.”

“People work for me and come in to give me news. And I hire them irrespective of their gender.”

He said and I looked at him.

“Same case with me?” I asked and he looked at me with his one eyebrow raised.

“Do you want me to lie or to be honest?”

“My opinion matters?” I asked, raising my eyebrows.

He kept his coffee aside, smiled at me and in one swift motion I landed on his lap. Our faces were too close to each other and he was looking dead serious. I kept my hand on his chest to prevent any further actions that we both would regret because for some reason this doesn’t feel right.

“Isn’t it obvious that it does?” His voice a little husky.

I’m his PA and he’s my Boss. We shouldn’t be doing this.

But my body reacted something else to his hand on my back and waist. His hands were so big that they covered a major part of my back and waist.

“How many girls have you said the same thing to?”

“Excluding you, zero.” He said licking his lips. He drew his lower lip into his teeth.

“I’ve work to do right now, let’s complete the conversation in the evening?” He said, lifting me off his lap.

“You’re looking like a Rose.” He said and I realised my cheeks were heating.

“I should complete my work.” I said and left for my Cabin.

As I reached my cabin, I placed my hands over my chest and my heart was beating so fast that it’d explode. I drew curtains so that he couldn’t get the view of me working.
