Harriet’s Point of View

My day started like any other.

I woke up early in the morning, took a bath, and had my breakfast while being observed by the attentive maids who served Alpha Ethan.

In the afternoon, I enjoyed watching the sunset.

The sun painted the orchard in shades of red before vanishing behind the mountains to the west, casting darkness over the entire villa. Unlike the brightly lit palace, the orchard was enveloped in quiet shadows.

Once the sun had set, I eagerly kept watch by the window. The man I anticipated would always appear when I least anticipated it.

As I waited for him, I couldn’t help but wonder how he would make his entrance this time.

Would he climb in through the window again or try a different approach? The anticipation kept me from feeling bored, and I even left the window unlatched to make sure he could get in easily.

I found myself yearning for the night with the anticipation of a child eagerly awaiting a present.

My excitement was uncontrollable.
