That man is right. If I keep this up, Nathan would fire me sooner than later.
“What are you doing?” Mira asked snatching the cup from me.
“I’m just putting in some cubes to make it cooler. This is going to be too hot for him to drink.” I said in defense.
“Thank your stars that you now have a friend like me to help you with getting along with this job. I’ve been the receptionist of this company for about three years and if there’s one thing I’m sure of, is that the boss’ coffee should under no circumstance be warm not to mention having cubes in it.”

Chapter 11Samantha Downs ~"I'll be on my way." I said walking towards the elevator and leaving the signed document there on the table."Don't forget your... thing."
